Personal Development Decisions; How To Make Them
It All Begins With A Choice!
Everyone makes personal development decisions on a daily basis. We all make a decision to get out of bed in the morning, to go to work, should we eat breakfast or not, will I say hello to people walking by or just keep on walking, will I be happy or sad. These are all some examples of the decisions we make on a daily basis.
So why do people make decisions slowly? Why are they scared of the outcome of their decisions? Most people procrastinate whenever it comes to making decisions. They are more comfortable to stay where they currently are than to make a change and do something different.
People only change when their pain is greater than their pleasure. Personal development decisions in life will teach you how to make decisions quickly and from the heart.
You should never listen to your head whenever you make decisions. The reason being is that your head is your ego and it will try to keep you stagnant; it is scared of change.
Once you become involved with personal development; decision making becomes easier. We all learn that life is a choice and we are where we are because of the decisions we have made in the past.
Whenever you making decisions you can not be scared to make them; successful people make their decisions quickly and very rarely change their minds. Unsuccessful people take forever to make decisions and almost always change their mind.
We must learn that it all begin with feelings and emotions; they must be in conjunction with the decision you make. If you feel great about the decision and your heart is telling you to go forward with it; then I would listen to your heart.
You will find your head playing all kinds of games with you; it will show all kinds of visualizations of failure, fear and procrastination in your mind.
You can not be scared to make personal development decisions. Making decisions and going forward with whatever it is you desire is a better than remaining stagnant and making no decision.
Remember even if you decide not to make a decision it you are still making one. If you are too scared to decide something remember a great saying by Rita Mae Brown
"A peacefulness follows any decision, even the wrong one."
With personal development decisions become easier after the first couple ones you make. Whenever you have to make a very important decision take the time to meditate on it and visualize the outcome of whatever it is you desire.
Based on what you desire if it gets you excited and you believe in the integrity of the outcome; you have nothing to lose.
The most important lesson you should learn from personal development decisions is that you should always decide to move forward to your goal. After all if you are not making decisions then nothing is changing in your life.
Only make decisions that help you and the others you care about.
Remember, a real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided.
- Anthony Robbins
Personal development decisions; now that you are more aware if you are making conscious decisions or not you can learn to base your decisions on the question "is this decision moving me closer or further away from my goal?"
