Persistence A Quality You Must Possess

What is persistence: to persevere in spite of obstacle; to endure

If you are looking for new ways to experience a breakthrough in your life; take a cue from a humble piece of technology - the locomotive.

When it first begins to go along the tracks it is very very slow. It seems as it is barely moving, but as the momentum continues it begins to pick up speed.

Before you know it the locomotive will be barreling down the tracks at full speed.

This is just an example of overcoming obstacles to achieve the life of your dreams. Persist, continue, sustain effort, stay in action, be patient hang in there you will realize that your hard work will pay off.

When it does pay off, you will realize that whatever you wanted was much easier to get, than to live without.

People who are courageous enough to follow their dreams will encounter obstacles; but it is not the obstacle that you should be worried about. An obstacle can be overcome, you just have to be willing to keep moving forward until it has been overcome.

The game Monopoly was developed by Charles Darrow, an unemployed heating engineer. Darrow presented his first version of the game to a toy company in 1935.

That company originally rejected the game for containing 52 "fundamental errors." Darrow persisted and today the game is so successful that its publisher; Parker Brothers prints more than $40 billion of Monopoly money each year.

Possessing this quality does pay and is a very important character to acquire. If you ever wish to accomplish anything important in your life then you must learn about persistence.
