Your Conscious Mind Can Hinder You

Do Your Realize Your Power!

You can think of the conscious mind as a hinder; it is the left side of your brain that tells you; you can not do that, what will your family or friends say if you do that? People will think you are crazy.

It will hinder you in anything you attempt out of the ordinary. It likes to keep you safe or stagnant in life. So can you quiet your conscious mind and get what you want in life? Absolutely; there is a way to quiet it and program your subconscious so that you can have be do anything you desire.

First of all you have to know what it is you desire (its funny how everything goes back to goals.) Sit down and decide what it is you want and then envision it and see how that makes you feel. You are going to learn very quickly that imagination is going to play a huge part in your success.

Imagination is the key to programming your subconscious to help you achieve anything you desire.

As a matter of fact many successful people have learned how to quiet their negative self talk through meditation and visualization and have gone one to experience success in all areas of their lives. It is not hard but does require discipline and effort on your part.

When you first start; quiet your mind for only 3 minutes at first it will feel like a lifetime. As you do this the conscious mind will enter into an alpha state and fall asleep. Once you begin to get used to quieting your mind; you can begin the visualization process.

You see yourself doing whatever it is you desire and you put yourself in the picture now as having already accomplished it. As you continue to do this with emotions and feelings you will continue to bypass your conscious mind and begin to turbo charge your life and begin setting yourself up to win the game of life. You will begin to achieve success and you will be amazed at how things begin to turn out in your life.

If you have not read In the book, the One Minute Millionaire" from Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hanson, one of the affirmations they encourage us to say is "I walk like a millionaire, I act like a millionaire, I am a millionaire."

I have written these down on a whiteboard I have in my bedroom and they are the first thing that me and my conscious mind see in the morning. I say them throughout the day along with several other affirmations.

I have done this process almost daily; my goal for 2008 is to get back into the routine of doing it everyday. I have also taken the time to add affirmations to this process.
